In an effort to contributes to the human capacity development gaps Africa through the youth’s capacity development programs, the YPDP present the portfolios of its young professional online alumni of Cohort three who have gone through the various forms of professional fellowship courses prescribed by YPDP.
We are confident that our alumni experience with the young professionals online fellowship cycle of professional training will be a “life changing one” in which they will grow in their journey of becoming “a transformed leader, “ready to share the knowledge gained, with their respective institutions, peers and their communities large.
David Eric Oloruntoba is a facet individual whose activities revolve about his community and environment - Egbe, Kogi State and more so, whose recommendation for positions and services has made him to currently work as a Manager, Administrator, Director, Technician and a businessman. Having completed a National Diploma study in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology from Federal Polytechnic Mubi in 2012, he proceeded to establish his multi - dimensional business firm in 2013 Daverol Nigeria Ventures and now Itzdaverol Integrated Services Ltd- RC1614830 (a 5Million share capital company). Subsequently, he enrolled and graduated with a BA in Pastoral and Theological Studies from the Institute of Pastoral and Theological Training.
Muwanenu Makayi is a banker, personal finance expert and leader, passionate about using her skills to make positive impact in her community. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance. She is interested in using leadership and entrepreneurship to create a sustainable future for Africa.
Mr. Greatman Owhor is an Associate Pharmaceutical industry specialist from currently awaiting graduation as a professional pharmacist. Before his joining this field the public health enthusiast has undertaken various training in the area of global health digital skills and research writing. Greatman is currently working on a research project on pharmaceutical excipients in tableting his aim is generally to save lives and make a global impact in his environment and the World.
Vuyelwa work is dealing with ICT software development training of students in universities and industries. She also focuses on preparing young professionals for future employment opportunities after graduation. Vuyelwa is also a senior manager at a service provider company, where she service as intergovernmental contact person between the company and the stakeholders for business services and provisional developments. Vuyelwa long-term plans are to work with her community in straitening community improvement and solving challenges faced by her community like, affordable education for young women’s and children.
Thomas Singbeh is a student research assistant, peer advisor and supplementary instructor in the Department of Political Science, University of Liberia. He's passionate about the academy and using innovative ways to solve Liberia and Africa's emerging socio-political and economic problems. Moreover, he’s concerned with effective public management and the development and consolidation of inclusive democratic institutions. Thomas envisages being a professor and policy consultant on African Affairs.
Johanna Alazar is a serial activist/entrepreneur since her youth Johanna Alazar is committed to peace building through developing scalable sustainable institutions. Currently running operations at Finjal, Alazar has dedicated herself to be a change agent for a better world.
Fatoumatta is an advocate for sustainable development goals and gender equality in her communities. Her goals are to conduct training for her community youth and media professional on sustainable related issues and gender advocacy. She always tries and works hard to achieve her ability towards youth empowerment.
Essoudouck Ulrich Thierry is a process management Engineer at the Technical directorate of Groupe SABC , Ivan's job consists in Process optimization and continuous improvement, process auditing and assessment ; Energy and fluid production optimization (compressed air, Steam, Carbon dioxide, cooling units and water production) and training of operators on Beverage production process, technology and quality. His job entails teamwork with other process engineers and with other Engineers, industrial Production supervisors and operators. As a STEM volunteer at Rubisadt Foundation, Ivan helps elaborate, mentor and deliver pedagogic projects/lessons helping bring forth scientific and technological training to encourage and permit young girls embrace a future career in Scientific and Technology fields of study and contribute to global welfare.
Abdullateef is a Public Health Pharmacist who currently works as a supply chain intern. He has performed beyond expectations in an acting position as a supply chain specialist. He is fast on the uptake, a highly enthusiastic and motivated individual who brings in positive energy to whichever team he finds himself. Being a result-driven and system thinking-oriented young professional this training would add to his technical and leadership capacity and capabilities. Abdullateef loves to achieve results. Regardless of the challenging environment he loves to make impact in the community and in so doing build the capacity and empower others from his little. Abdullateef sees this as empowerment to his community as he would do his best to bring all learnt to practicality to achieve a better and safe society for all.
Chelvin is a Global Peace Ambassador and Country Representative of African Youth for Development Commission (YALDA) in Mauritius, with a Bachelor of law degree from the International Business Law at the University of London. Chelvin is currently a Master of Business Administration (MBA) candidate from Middlesex University, London. . Chelvin has undertaken various leadership programs including President Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) and was a Keynote Speaker for the Global Social Leader Forum 2017. On that note, he was nominated as the Top 100 YALI Alumni across Africa and played a leading role in the YALI Alumni Conference 2019 in South Africa. Currently, Chelvin serves as Networking Lead for the YALI Mauritius Alumni Chapter.

Flora is a Monitoring and Evaluation expert that has been working for SHE Rwanda to break the taboo around menstruation through education advocacy and producing menstrual pads. Flora hold a Bachelor’s of science degree in Agricultural economics and Business from the National University of Rwanda. Flora believes that a community can overcome any issue if they come together be sincere and realistic with what is going on and accept to take risk to make changes. Flora is a confident helpful and reliable community engagement individual with passion for community development.
Dahunsi Joy has over 7 years experience in humanitarian services. She is the Founder of Smile In Making Impacts Foundation where they focus on ensuring that the less privileged children in Nigeria access same privileges as the privileged ones by engaging them in productive and educational activities and supporting them with aids and relief items needed to live decent lives. She is motivated, driven and committed to an industrialized country with a growth driven mindset to see to it that my inputs contribute immensely to national development.
David Arinze is a multi-competency professional who is passionate about increasing electricity access to deprived climes through clean energy sources. His Industry experience revolves around Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Off-Grid Energy. He is currently an Off-Grid Energy Associate with Diamond Development Initiatives. DDI is the Implementing Partner of the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) in Nigeria. As an Off-Grid Energy Associate, He works closely with local energy entrepreneurs, regulatory authorities, vendors, and other stakeholders to manage the deployment and sustainability of off-grid energy solutions in unserved and underserved communities across Nigeria through the provision of technical assistance, grants management, project monitoring, remediation support and the facilitation of access to follow-on financing.. He is a trained advocate of the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. He is a recipient of many international and local award.
Ann is a leadership aficionado who is passionate about advancing her community through creating sustainable change by empowering young people. She believes in youth inclusion and sees it as a crucial aspect of nation development. Ann has also helped to advance her community by equipping local communities within Nigeria with tools for federal budget projects implementation. She has interests in health, research, women development, youth inclusion and empowerment and leadership.
Arlindo João Catchongo Caiombe is a professional English language teacher by the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences in Huambo (Angola). He is also a YALI RLC SA alumni where was enrolled in Civic Leadership Track. Currently he is working as Global Peace Ambassador in Angola and his task is to raise peace awareness across the country. Since October 1st when he was selected as Global Peace Ambassador by the Global Peace Chain selection team, he has done already two big activities with the motto #peacebydialogues. In addition, the ambassodor Arlindo said that it has been a great experience to with the community in order to promote a global peace. Finally the ambassodor pretend to reach more than 10 activities by the end of 2020.
